A contemporary make over of a 1950's single storey house
The project involves the conversion of existing integral garages to create a new kitchen, family room, games area and utility space and the design of a new main entrance. The facades are delicately treated with a fresh clean white render with panels of natural timber cladding. The original stone chimney is retained as a feature piece and the secondary chimney treated to match. The entire roof is redesigned to incorporate extended eaves for solar shading, integral rain water gutters and super insulation. New windows and doors complete the look.
